Fashion Workshop

I enjoyed the location fashion shoot more than the studio one, as I felt the surrounding area was more interesting than the cyclorama. I could be more creative with my shots, and it was fun playing with natural light. I didn't like the flash systems that much, so I mainly used natural light for my shots.

Monobloc Practice

Group - Me, Andrew, Rhys & Matt

Well this was about our 3rd practice with the monoblocs, so it was really hard to get motivated, especially when the briefs were about CIT. It was also challenging because it was really hard for us to look like teachers or directors as we all looked very much like students.
Overall I think we did well, our main pitfalls being things we couldn't control (wardrobe etc).

This shot was supposed to be a teacher helping a student with work, or a question etc. It doesn't really work, just for the fact that it looks like two students working together, rather than a student and teacher. Technically I think we did well, and the lighting is good.

Wow, what a terrible shot. Heh, that is probably just me being biased as it is of me. This shot was supposed to be a photograph of a CIT director, and again, the subject looks nothing like what is asked for (which we can't really help). The white on white doesn't really work either, but otherwise the shot looks alright.

This is another of our director shots. I think this one is working better as there is more focus on the subject as there is less background interest.

This one was supposed to be 4 students sitting around CIT enjoying college life. This is our best shot I think, and the location and lighting is good, and low and behold, we look like students!! I like this one because it does look like we are conversing and having fun.
